The ZIMO system components are connected by a CAN bus cable (CAN = Controller Area Network).CAN is a proven network in many industrial applications. The transfer rate of 125 kbit/s allows the cab bus and the feedback bus to be combined, even under extreme conditions with hundreds of occupancy detectors sending information to the PC and at the same time many "engineers" using the cabs to control their engines.

6POL8M, 6POL10M		 Ready made CAN Bus - cables with 6pin plug on both sides. Available with length 15cm, 1m, 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m, 8m and 10m. The very short cable is especially for connecting Cabs or modules situated side by side.
6POLPEAK Connection of the ZIMO System to the Computer if this computer is equipped with a CAN Extension Card or with the PCAN-Dongle. On one side this cable has the 6pin Modular Plug, on its other side it has a 9pin D-Sub Plug

This interface cable is necessary if using STP Software (switch board program). It is not necessary if you use applications like Adapt which work with lower data transmission rates. In this cases a normal RS232 cable is sufficient
