The "Harz Camel" with the
Sound of the real V100
Only for the large scale ZIMO MX690 decoder, there is now real sound from Sound Design, specially customized for the current Piko model of the Harz Camel
Original recordings made by railway modellers on the Harz line were used. The fine tuning of the sounds by Heinz Däppen includes: the water cooling pump, the distinctive V12 Diesel from the VEB Engine Manufacturer of Potsdam-Babelsberg, the howl of the turbo charger. |

All these details make the difference when compared to other sound projects. Also two servo outputs are programmed, so that everything is ready for two uncoupling servos to be used and to begin shunting . Here ... the Sound Sample for the Harz Camel. Large scale MX690 sound decoders can be ordered from ZIMO retailers with the Harz Camel sound project loaded for 170 euros (with matching speakers, if required). To load into an existing decoder, purchase of a "Load Code" is required from Sound-Design; the sound project itself can be downloaded from the Sound Design website or the ZIMO Sound Database. |
