Decoder with

21-pin connector and PluX8, PluX16, PluX22

ZIMO has developed a new decoder type for locos with 21-pin connectors:

the MX64D.

Delivery should start July 2007 !

The foto shows the special version MX64DV (the version with added supply for low voltage bulbs).

 The MX64D can be used:

• as a decoder for all loco's with 21-pin interface. Of course MX64D offers all ZIMO features; excellent slow motion drive,  HLU, RailCom, Software update etc.

• specially for Märklin and Trix loco's with C-Sinus-Motor !

• as special version MX64DV1 oder MX64DV5 for 21-pin loco's with low voltage bulbs (1,2 V resp. 5 V).

TECHNICAL DATA:

Dimensions 20,5 x 15,5 x 4,5 mm (according NMRA RP Draft 9.1.1),
Max. current total or motor current 1,2 A,
6 function outputs total current 0,8 A, 2 servo control outputs, SUSI on solder pads.

21-pin: very new,  but   . . . .   "PluX" comes soon !

The new  "PluX" is designed for DCC applications and has some advantages: more function outputs and less special outputs for C-Sinus (which is only used by Maerklin).

In future both connectors - 21-pin and "PluX" - will exist. So ZIMO offers (will offer) decoders for all cases !
