MX620 - The New Miniature Decoder The well known MX62 is sold out since Februay; the new MX620 starts in early June 2006 ! The MX620 uses the microcontroller core of the MX69 and MX690 large scale decoders. Some features are therefore present in the MX620 even earlier than in the H0 decoders MX63, MX64 (where they will be implemented a little later with a software update): signal stop with "Lenz ABC" (asymmetrical DCC), constant braking distance, etc. |

Of course (same as all ZIMO decoders) software updating on the track, prepared for RailCom ("bi-directional communication"), lighting effects, extended function mapping, etc. MX620 is NOT a sound decoder, but .... the microcontroller is able to play some compressed sound samples, which could be made audible by a tiny external amplifier (later in this year together with the necessary software update). |
