The PluX interface according to NMRA DCC RP 9.1.1:
„PluX“ is the new standard interface with several advantages compared to the 21-pin interface, e.g. no waste of pins for hall inputs of C-Sinus motors.
At least ROCO and FLEISCHMANN will have lcos with PluX from 2008.
There are three types standardized: 8-pin, 16-pin, 22-pin (one of the pins ist always used as "index" in order to protect against wront insertion). Smaller decoders are compatible also with larger loco boards.
