ZIMO  2004 - products and projects

New MX21 cab replaces the MX2; (also as radio version MX2FU). Comes with 4 x 16 character graphic display capable of displaying 5 digit addresses. Planned start of delivery: April 2004.

Bundle of new features for all decoders: Signal stop by asymmetrical DCC signal (of course not replacing but in addition to Zimo's signal controlled speed limits); constant stopping distance, various new function effects ("street car" features, etc). Development in progress.

New MX69 large-scale decoder to replace MX66. Comes with SUSI plug for sound modules etc. Also includes all features mentioned above. A high output version with 5 or 6 Amps will become available.

New accessory decoder MX82 replaces the MX81. Besides the well known functions of the MX81, the MX82 will operate up to 4 servos, has BEMF for slow and safe operation of switch machines (turns your switch machine in to a slow motion switch machine) and comes with auxiliary inputs. Also a version will be available for 2 turnouts or 4 signal lights. Planned start of delivery: March 2004.

Custom designed Cab MX3. Big graphic display, new modern ergonomic style, innovative operating procedures.

Swichtboard Software STP (by E. Sperrer Software-Entwicklung). The following enhancements are planned for the upcoming STP Release 5.1: A scheduling function for clock-triggered actions (including crossing and bypassing of trains), increased dispatcher panel limits (> 500 turnouts, > 500 signals, 4800 track section elements), support for all "signal dependent speed steps" (5 intermediate steps instead of 2 before), double-usage of panel elements (signal and button on one element), extensions for panel creation & representation (and much more).
